Terms of Use
These terms are an agreement between you and Tomáš Husár ("we", "us") about your use of the game Queen of Spite (the "game"). By downloading or playing the game you accept them. If you don't, please don't use the game.
1. App stores
If you got the game from Apple's App Store, Apple's Licensed Application End User License Agreement also applies, and these terms add to it. If you got it from Google Play, Google Play's terms of service also apply. Apple and Google are not parties to these terms and are not responsible for the game or its support.
2. Your licence
We give you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable licence to install the game on devices you own or control and to play it for your own non-commercial entertainment, as the store's rules allow. You may not copy, modify, sell or rent the game, reverse-engineer it except where the law allows, remove notices, or use it to build a competing product. Everything in the game (its code, art, music, text, characters and names) belongs to us or our licensors.
3. The Full Game purchase
- The game is free to download. One optional in-app purchase, The Full Game, unlocks the rest of the game as described on the store page. It is a one-time purchase with no subscription.
- Payments, refunds and family sharing are handled by Apple or Google under their own rules. Refund requests go to them.
- The purchase belongs to your store account. On a new device, use "Restore purchase" in the game while signed in to the same account.
- Game progress is stored on your device. Restoring the purchase on a new device restores the full game, not your progress.
4. No real-money gambling
Queen of Spite is a card game of skill and luck played for fun. The gold, charms, Heat levels, feats and other in-game items have no monetary value, can't be bought with or exchanged for real money, and can't be won as prizes. Nothing in the game offers a chance to win money or anything of value.
5. Playing with others
When you play at a table with other people, be decent. Don't pick a nickname that is offensive, hateful, impersonates someone else or contains personal information. Don't cheat, modify the game or interfere with other players' games. We may change features to keep play fair.
6. Updates and availability
We may update, change or stop parts of the game (for example balance, content or multiplayer) and may stop offering the game. We'll try to keep what you've unlocked working, but we don't promise the game will always be available, error-free or compatible with every device.
7. Disclaimer
The game is provided "as is" and "as available". To the extent the law allows, we make no warranties, express or implied, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose and non-infringement. Nothing in these terms limits rights you have as a consumer that the law of your country doesn't allow us to limit.
8. Limitation of liability
To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for indirect, incidental, special or consequential damages, or for lost data or progress, arising from your use of the game. Our total liability to you is limited to the amount you paid for the game in the 12 months before the claim. This doesn't limit liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, for fraud, or for anything else that can't be limited by law.
9. Ending the licence
You can stop using the game at any time by deleting it. If you seriously break these terms, the licence ends. The sections on ownership, disclaimers and liability continue after it ends.
10. Privacy
How the game handles data is described in the Privacy Policy.
11. Changes to these terms
We may update these terms. The date at the top shows the latest version. If a change is significant, we'll mention it in the game's update notes. Continuing to play after a change means you accept it.
12. Law
These terms are governed by the laws of Czech Republic, without regard to its conflict-of-law rules. If you are a consumer, you also keep the protection of the mandatory laws of the country where you live, and you can bring a claim in your local courts.
